Hunt Accommodation and Conditions   Terry and Glad Pierson of New Zealand Wildlife Safaris offer the Best of the Best for their hunting clients. "We are only changing where we base our hunts and we can personally assure clients that their hunting experiences will only be enhanced.  The rates stay the same and only where you will be hunting are changing.  You only need to fly into Christchurch, New Zealand and we will take care of the rest." North Island Hunts: North Island specie hunts are conducted using suitable motel accommodation.  We return to the accommodation has each evening making this hunt most suitable for non-hunting companions."

Hunt Accommodations

Full accommodation is provided and includes all meals, beverages and total comfort for our guests.

Suitable motels are utilized for your accommodation. These motels are carefully selected to provide a standard that all will find most comfortable.

We return to the motel accommodation each evening where full service and facilities are available.

We welcome wives and companions to join with us in the relaxed surrounding provided. The are invited to join in with the hunt or enjoy the alternative day of tours or shopping under Glad Pierson's personal care.

Hunting Conditions

Both "Free Range" and "Safari Park" hunts are conducted. We are fortunate to have access to exclusive hunting areas with large resident herds of excellent free ranging Fallow deer and Chamois. Tahr hunts are also conducted from these bases. For these species the use of a helicopter is often required and where a helicopter is utilized the cost of this helicopter is included. Red Stag, Wapiti and Wild Sheep hunts are conducted within our large fenced hunting area. The terrain and vegetation cover in this area makes these hunts challenging. The animals have every opportunity of evading the hunter. Hunts are conducted on foot under the best "fair chase" conditions and 4WD vehicle is the usual form of transport however vehicle access is limited.
